Take action against racism
There are many other ways you can take action against racism in Australia.
Check out the Australian Human Rights Commission resource hub for information and support on developing your anti-racism skillset and mindset.
What we do know
- Racism is not new, but new and collaborative approaches are needed to tackle it
- We all have a role to play, in every sporting space we are in
- Focus on ‘progress over perfection’ in the areas of sport that you can influence
- Celebrate the small wins, and share them to inspire others
- Building capability through education is crucial, but not at the cost of accountability
- Collaborative approaches can build more resilient, sustainable and better-informed anti-racism initiative initiatives
